Design Engineer

DiMonte Group Inc. is seeking candidates to fill an opening for a Design Engineer. Working closely with DGI Project Managers and our clients you will contribute to the development of new and unique products intended for consumer, industrial, medical, and other marketplaces.

Specific responsibilities will include:

•  Develop designs, engineering drawings and BOMs for new product concepts.

•  Create and maintain 3-D CAD Models, Assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks

•  Work with client's engineering staff and vendors on design for manufacturability.

•  Design parts in a variety of materials and processes including plastic molding/forming, fabrication, metal working/moldings/castings.

•  Create prototype designs and parts using rapid prototyping technologies and traditional model making techniques.

•  Design complicated mechanical assemblies including components, mates, constraints and part interactions.

•  FEA Analysis using CosmosWorks.

The Requirements

•  B.S. degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, General Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

•  2 + years of work experience within a manufacturing environment using 3D Solid Modeling and 2D Drafting to create unique solutions to mechanical challenges.

•  Experience designing systems & parts for a variety of manufacturing processes
